For Sale: Medina Board Game (Stronghold Games 2014 Edition) - Excellent Condition!
Price: $140 OBO (Cash only, local pickup preferred. Located in Coon Rapids.
Up for sale is my copy of Medina (Second Edition), published by Stronghold Games in 2014. This is a highly regarded abstract strategy board game designed by Stefan Dorra, nominated for the 2014 Golden Geek Best Abstract Board Game award. It's out of print now, making it a bit of a collector's item—similar used copies are going for $140+ on eBay and other sites.
Set in 1822, players collaborate to rebuild the ancient city of Medina at the foot of the Atlas Mountains. You'll place colorful wooden pieces to construct grand palaces, claim territory, and build walls around the city. But it's competitive—only the smartest builders who claim the largest palaces in the four colors and secure the best spots will come out on top. It's a tense, elegant game with simple rules but deep strategy, perfect for fans of city-building or abstract games like Carcassonne or Tigris & Euphrates.

This game has held up amazingly well over the years and is praised for its stunning table presence and replay ability. Reviewers call it a "gem" with gorgeous wooden bits that make it stand out on your shelf. If you're into strategic, visually appealing games, this is a must-have!
