We offer full and part-time sales positions. Both full and part-time Sales Assistants have an hourly pay rate with an opportunity to earn more through our commision pay plan. We are looking for people with 2 plus years in sales, customer service or the hospitality industry.

EMBRACE TRAINING, EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT
Support all training endeavors and complete all training lessons in a timely manner
Attend and participate in all training and sales meetings as scheduled
Recognize opportunities for self-improvement, work with sales manager to improve performance
Responsible for staying informed on all new and existing product lines
Responsible for staying informed of competitor information, and performing monthly competitor shops
Secret Shops will be conducted to ensure selling skills are demonstrated according to company structured selling methods
MEASURING YOUR SUCCESS
Make daily evaluations and improvements to sales performance and HOM Guard protection products and services
Submit timely and accurate sales reports as directed by manager
Keep organized records
Ensure an Exceptional guest experience by working with all customers in a friendly and professional manner
Determine customer’s needs using proper inquiries
Present and demonstrate products in a competent manner
Communicate effectively with customers in both verbal and written formats
Assigned to Home area during shift.
Assist Sales Professionals to ensure showroom floor sales coverage.
Assist Sales Professionals with invoice support
Assist Sales Professionals with turnovers for special orders
Maintain a well-groomed professional appearance
Greet all customers within the showroom
Quote accurate prices and credit terms
Estimate delivery dates to customer, based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules
Lead customers into making buying decisions and to related add-on sales
Competently provide answers regarding products to customer
Recognize and overcome customer objections
Track prospective customers for future use as sales leads, based on information from previous contacts
Contact regular and prospective customers on a daily basis for the purpose of generating sales
Send thank you letters to all customers
Provide all customers with after sale service
SUPPORT A POSITIVE WORK CLIMATE
Support management and peers, train and assist as needed
Comply with all company policies and procedures
Embrace change and demonstrate a positive mental attitude
Adjust scheduled hours to meet store needs
Perform non-selling activities, such as: price product for promotional events, regular maintenance of price cards, light dusting & vacuuming, maintain cleanliness in all areas of the showroom
SUPPORT COMPANY STANDARDS
Meet agreed upon sales and HOM Guard product goals on a month to month basis
Consistently demonstrate selling skills using the company’s structured selling method
Maintaining high accuracy i.e.: writing invoices, obtain email capture, discounting, delivery charges, etc.
Education and/or Experience
Must have or be currently working towards a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years related experience and/or training.
Requires skills to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Need to be able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Demonstrate the ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in written format.
