The Restoration Material Runner supports field crews by delivering, picking up, and staging equipment and materials required for water, fire, mold, and contents restoration projects. This role is essential to keeping jobs moving efficiently by ensuring technicians have the right equipment at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver and pick up restoration equipment such as air movers, dehumidifiers, HEPA air scrubbers, extraction tools, and containment materials
Transport job materials between warehouse, job sites, and vendors
Stage equipment and materials at job sites according to project needs
Assist with equipment loading, unloading, and basic setup when needed
Track equipment movement and assist with inventory accuracy
Communicate with Project Managers and Technicians regarding job needs
Ensure equipment is returned, cleaned, and properly stored
Identify and report damaged, missing, or malfunctioning equipment
Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and company vehicles
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy equipment (50+ lbs)
Familiarity with restoration equipment preferred (training provided)
Ability to work in emergency response environments
Strong reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail
Basic mechanical or equipment-handling knowledge a plus
Work Environment
Field-based role with frequent driving
Exposure to wet, dusty, smoky, or damaged environments
Physically demanding with lifting, bending, and standing
