Desk size chair with spindle back and Pressback top stretcher. This chair is used and has a couple of issues that have been repaired. One of the legs has a small section of the top of one of the turned legs broken out and reglued. Felt bases have been added to the bottom of the legs to protect a wood floor and one of them is missing. The other 3 could be removed to make the chair stable or another pad could be attached. The top of the back stretcher is 37 inches above the floor, the chair back is 18 inches wide and the chair from front of seat to back of top stretcher is about 20 inches deep. The seat is approximately 17 by 15 and is 16 inches above the floor. I have found several online postings with prices ranging from $300 to $395 but they look to be pristine. Another chair identified as Amish Monroe chair looks just like this one but has turned back pieces and not flattened.
