Back on market, sale fell through

I rescued this guy from a killpen in the Oklahoma. This guy was very malnourished and thin when I got him. He was unhandled and very skittish of people. I’ve had him here for about 4 months now. I’ve got a halter on him, I have him leading around and slowly been working on gaining trust. He will be an awesome horse/pony for someone. He is on the smaller side. I just don’t have the time that I thought I would. I have client horses coming in that I am currently training along with working 30-40 hours a week. He’s got a nice start on him, he’s got a kind eye. He’s just honestly scared and frightened of people. The kill pen that I bought him from had him listed as a gelding. However his coggins and Vet certificate label him as a stallion. I have not been able to see anything up there. I have not felt up there yet as he’s very hesitant about me even touching him and he shies away. He responds to pressure and leads very well. When I got him it looked like he had rope burns all over his butt, chest, and ankles. Whoever had him, was not nice to him at all.

The killpen claimed that he was 3-5 years old. I took a picture of his teeth and my vet confirmed that he is about 4.5 - 5.5 years old based on those photos.

I do not have the time to put into training him as I originally thought that I would. Between working with client horses and working 30-40 hours a week, it’s just not working out as I had hoped. I work the client horses before I touch my own. I’m just trying to get the money back that I put into him.

If I get the chance to work with him, his price will go up and reflect the training, time, and vetting that I have into him.

The first few photos is when I first got him. The other photos are present day him. He has gained a lot of weight.
