This cedar lined chest was left in the elements so the exterior finish was trashed. It has been stripped and repainted white. The markings on the drawer bottom indicate is was made by Lane in 1953 and the blanket drawer is lined with felt. The piano hinge for the lid looks like new and the push button to open the lid works perfectly. It has all the original hardware and there are no seperations or cracks in the framework. Must be seen to be totally appreciated.
