A garage find that the exterior finish was trashed by the elements. The interior looks like new including the hinges, latching mechanism and cedar lining. The bottom drawer is sometimes called a "blanket drawer" and it is felt lined. The interior is stamped that it was made by Lane and it is Aroma Tight Pressure Tested. The old finish was stripped and sanded (several times) and the hardware cleaned up to look like new. The markings on the drawer bottom indicate it was made in 1953 making it between 70 and 75 years old. We are unable to locate the key but the push button works perfectly.
