I got this laserdisc player with a bunch of other electronics and it powers on but does not read any discs. I tried to load both laserdisc and cds and it simply will not read. I have not tested it further or attempted any repairs. I would rather sell as is than to put any time into it. Also it is missing some of the knobs. Laserdisc players are getting tough to find these days and this one is cheaper than you will find anywhere else. 30 dollars or trade for vintage audio equipment like philips high fidelity labs, fisher, pioneer, jvc, onkyo, hh scott or vintage speakers like jensen or dlk
