Do you have high cholesterol and want to lower it with nutrient-dense foods?

Scientists at Nutrient, a nutrient-dense food company in Nevada, are recruiting individuals to participate in a 12-week research study to determine if Nutrient's foods affect your cholesterol levels. Our meals are carefully designed to include one-third of every essential nutrient that you need to be healthy.

We are seeking 60 adults, age 45-69, who have high LDL cholesterol and are overweight. The purpose of the study is to determine the effect on cholesterol and CRP from eating three Nutrient foods daily for three months (Nutrient provides the food at no cost). If eligible, you will participate from your home at no cost to you.


Study Details:
•12- week study beginning mid-June*
•Daily, consume 3 Nutrient foods (oatmeal, bar, and shake or hot meal)
•Weekly, submit an electronic questionnaire
•Monthly, perform a home test for blood cholesterol/metabolic panel
•Check in with your assigned a coach at least once a week

Requirements:
•Age 45 – 69
•Overweight or obese
•LDL cholesterol ≥ 100 mg/dL**
•No history of IBS, IBD, GERD, thyroid dysfunction, kidney disease, liver disease
•Not born with high cholesterol
•Does not have a pacemaker
•No known allergy to soy, dairy, or gluten
•Cannot be pregnant or lactating, or trying to get pregnant
•Live in the U.S.

Our food:
•Nutrient dense, shelf-stable items
•Most are prepared by adding water or preferred milk product
•All meals contain soy and many contain whey

**Testing must have been done within 6 months of signing up, picture of lab work must be provided at the time of enrollment
