3D Printing & Prototyping — From miniatures to job-site-ready parts
If you want it, I can print it. Whether you already have a file or just an idea, I can help create it. I handle everything from toys and display pieces to durable, functional parts—and now high-detail resin printing—plus small electronics integrations.
Bed size (FDM): 10" × 10" × 10" (256 × 256 × 256 mm)
Typical turnaround: 3–5 business days per iteration (print + feedback)
Transparent pricing: time ($25/hr) + material ($15/kg for filament). I’ll share hours and part weight each update.
Payment: Zelle, CashApp, or cash

Miniatures & Display:
-Resin printing (SLA/MSLA) for ultra-fine detail, crisp edges, and smooth surfaces—ideal for tabletop miniatures, busts, display models, small figurines, and intricate parts. Resin types available: Standard, Tough/ABS-like, Flexible, High-Temp, and Clear.
-High-detail FDM (0.12–0.20 mm layers) also available for larger display pieces, props, and signs.
-Optional finishing for both resin and FDM: sanding, filler/primer, and paint for a polished, showcase-ready look.
Durable, Functional Parts (FDM focus):
-PETG for strong, temperature-resistant parts (car, garage, kitchen).
-Nylon (PA) for high impact strength, abrasion resistance, and flex—great for clips, brackets, jigs, hinges, and job-site parts.
-ABS/PC when you need extra heat resistance and toughness.
-Optional carbon-filled variants for added stiffness and a pro matte finish.
Material Quick Picks (plain-English):
-PLA / PLA Tough: Clean look, easy and affordable. Best for display, light-duty parts.
-PETG: Tougher than PLA; better temp/chemical resistance. Good for brackets, guards, organizers.
-ABS: Tough, sandable, better heat resistance; good for enclosures and fixtures.
-Nylon (PA): Very tough and wear-resistant with a bit of flex; ideal for hinges, clips, and parts that take a beating.
-PC (Polycarbonate): High heat resistance and impact strength for demanding parts.
-Carbon-fill (PETG/PA/PC): Increased stiffness and matte look (can be more brittle than base material).
-Resin (SLA/MSLA): Highest detail and smoothness. Choose Standard for display minis, Tough/ABS-like for more durable prototypes, Flexible for elastomeric parts, High-Temp for heat-resistant fixtures, Clear for lenses/light pipes (with post-finish).
Engineering Materials: Strength & Function (Nylon & PETG in focus):
-Nylon (PA): Built for abuse—impact and abrasion resistant, handles repeated flexing, and resists cracking. Great for mechanical parts, snap-fits, and working hinges. If your part gets clamped, bent, or knocked around, Nylon is a top pick.
-PETG: A dependable workhorse—tougher than PLA and more temperature-stable. Good chemical tolerance. Ideal for brackets, guards, organizers, and light outdoor use.
-Tip: Tell me how the part will be used (load, temperature, indoor/outdoor) and I’ll recommend the best material—including when resin makes sense vs. FDM.
Finishing & Options:
-Finishing: sanding, filler/primer, spray painting
-Heat-set inserts: threaded brass inserts for strong assemblies
-Post-processing: print annealing (FDM where appropriate), resin wash + UV cure
-Casting/encapsulation: 2-part epoxy pours with vacuum chamber
-Custom: props, tool organizers, shadow boxes, and custom Hueforge style prints (https://shop.thehueforge.com/)
Electronics & Add-Ons:
-Lights, speakers, batteries, sensors, remotes
-Microcontrollers: Arduino / Raspberry Pi
-Basic soldering & wiring
-I’ll design mounting features, wiring paths, and access panels to keep things clean and serviceable.
Materials I Print:
FDM: PLA (and PLA Tough), PETG, ABS, Nylon (PA), PC, Carbon-fill blends, and most other common materials
-Resin (SLA/MSLA): Standard, Tough/ABS-like, Flexible, High-Temp, Clear/Transparent
-Have an idea but no 3D file? I can help sketch requirements, create/clean up CAD, and prepare your part for printing. I’ll explain the trade-offs (surface finish vs. strength, wall thickness, supports) so the design fits your use case.
How Pricing Works:
-Time: billed at $25/hr for design, setup, and print time reporting
-Material (FDM): $15/kg of filament used (weights shared for transparency)
-Material (Resin): quoted per mL and resin type (Standard, Tough, Flexible, High-Temp, Clear) — I’ll share estimated volume before printing
-Bring your own material? Sure—happy to print with supplied filament or resin when suitable.
Get Started:
Send your file or idea (photos, sketches, measurements are great).
Tell me the use case (where it lives, how it’s used, any load/heat).
I’ll recommend material & settings (FDM or Resin) and give a clear estimate.
Approve the plan → I print, share photos/notes, and iterate if needed.
