Excellent condition Mats Jonasson lead crystal paperweights originally sold exclusively in Canada. One is identified by the sticker on the base as "Maleras, Sweden, Full Lead" and the other has the same stylized M and reads "Mats Jonasson Sweden Full Lead" and neither has any chips, flaws, stains, or cracks. I found several sites that have them shown but listed as "sold, no others available, and rare hard to find". The "striped cat with a ball of yarn" can be purchased individually for $23 and the "sitting rabbit can be purchased for $25, or you can have both pieces for $39. The striped cat piece measures 3 5/8 inch round with a tapered front and is 1 3/4 inches thick at the base and thinner at the top while the sitting rabbit 3 1/2 inches at the widest part and 3 1/4 inches at the highest point. The sitting rabbit is signed in script MS Sweden 2552.
