JAPAN NORTHERN ANTI-GUERILLA FORCES (PARA)
this unit is obsolete, 6 months during 1981 and 1982 operation
then the unit and badges were discontinued
this was a special unit within the JAPAN GROUND SELF DEFENSE FORCE(JGSDF)
was designed for cold mountainous regions, against
guerilla style enemies with a focus on parachute based deployment
no official program exists today
badges are VERY RARE and in excellent condition sealed in plastic containers
