A glimpse at the past when home seamstresses made many of their own clothes. The box (in fair to poor condition) has a vertical stand that holds a small bottle of corn starch and when the squeeze bulb is activated marks the fabric at a preset height above the floor. The ruler on the stand goes up to 30 inches and there is a replacement bottle of corn starch to refill the marker bottle. A few postings on Ebay list several of this item for prices ranging from $35 to $65 with the majority at $50.
