Material: Copper with silver, pewter or tin overlay, featuring etched or hand-engraved designs.
Plate is 14 1/2" across, very old and substantial weight to it, we have collected Antiques for over 50 years,
Design: Intricate patterns including animals (such as birds and deer) and floral motifs.
Origin: Persian/Middle Eastern, possibly from the Qajar dynasty (1789-1925).
Use: Decorative item, possibly a serving tray or wall hanging.
Care: Should be hand-polished regularly with a soft material and a proprietary brand of brass and copper polish.
Value: Depending on condition, age, and artistry, similar items can range in price from around $170 to over $400.
Age Classification: Copper made before World War II is considered antique.
