HSI’s Clubhouse and Recovery Room in Oakdale is open to Washington County residents with mental and/or chemical health issues. Scheduling is flexible and involves mostly afternoons Monday to Friday. Volunteers are needed to do a wide variety of activities including fun projects, education, exercise and social interaction. We are open to your interests, ideas and talents. Examples include:
• Lead an exercise class, craft class, game, music or singing group
• Take a group on an outing or field trip; such as an art gallery or a park
• Teach a second language or dancing
• Share a talent or hobby
• Serve food and beverages
• Group and individual interaction
• Other opportunities based on volunteer interests, ideas or talents
