J.J. Taylor, a beer, wine, and spirits distributor in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, is looking for qualified candidates for our driver’s helper positions. This position requires twisting, bending, lifting, occasional 170 lbs and push/pull up to 340 lbs, maneuvering a two-wheel dolly, stooping and at times works in an outdoor climate. Applicants must be 18 years old and have a current valid driver’s license.
Description of Position:
-Unloads cases and/or kegs from truck at each delivery stop.
-Delivers and stacks product on customer premises using a two-wheel dolly.
-Places stock in their proper locations such as coolers and/or store displays.
-Picks up and removes empty returns and kegs from accounts.
-Checks in truck at the end of the day ensuring the inside of truck is swept out and clean.
-Assists warehouse staff with separating empty kegs or other returned merchandise and placing in proper locations.
-Adheres to all safety codes and OSHA standards.
-Works mandatory overtime when required.
-Delivers special orders.
Qualifications for Position:

-Able to be dependable and reliable. Maintains high work standards.
-Able to maintain order and cleanliness of trucks and warehouses.
-Able to work constructively under stress and pressure.
-Knowledge of proper lifting procedures.
-Able to regularly lift up to 170 lbs. and push/pull up to 340 lbs.
-Able to maneuver a two-wheel dolly effectively.
-High School diploma or GED preferred.
-Previous delivery and/or warehouse experience desired.
-Valid Class D driver’s license required.
