Database Development
1. Produce database schemas and changes based on Data Warehouse Architect design. This includes creating tables, indexes, views, triggers and stored procedures.
2. Development of stored procedures and complex views based on Data Warehouse Architect design.
3. Create database value updates based on Data Warehouse Architect provided requirements
4. Initiate database change request process on all database related changes. Implement changes in development and QA databases (DBA will implement changes in production databases).
5. Create ad hoc queries for the business and technical teams as needed.

Other Duties
1. Provide database technical consulting to Data Warehouse and Reporting teams.
2. Follow SQL coding standards.

McKinley Group has been retained by a 40 employee, 10 year-old e-Commerce company based on the east side of St. Paul to identify the next Web Architect that will take their platform to the next level, effectively re-architecting their platform to Version 2.0. The owners of this company started the company in college out of the dorm room 12 years ago, and have since been featured in the Who's Who of Entrepreneurs in publications all across the country. They've seen 30-40% growth every year since their company's inception. And yet, this is a company you have NEVER heard of.

PLATFORM:
Their e-Commerce platform is currently on the 4.0 framework, and the sole developer on the team (self-taught), has architected this platform from the ground-up, effectively building a $20+ million business from scratch based on a very specific but really fun niche. However, they're at the point where they need a true Web 2.0 architect to come in and be the person to take them to the next level.

POSITION:
Bring your own tools! They're currently on the 4.0 framework with ASP.NET (mix of C# and VB.NET) with a SS2008 R2 backend, but are entirely open to whatever you'd like to use in re-architecting their site. This is a position where you will work hand-in-hand with the original developer to really create something extraordinary; you don't get more of a blank slate to really craft a solution than this! As such, we really need a very senior level .NET developer; someone comfortable crafting a high-level architecture as well as development from the ground-up. We're not putting years of experience on this, but if you have less than 5 years of total professional experience, you probably aren't the person we're looking for.

COMPENSATION:
