Large bank needing contractor analyst to perform audit and controls testing around the security of customer information specific to GLBA (Gramm-Leach Bliley Act)
Will perform audit and controls testing around the security of customer information specific to GLBA (Gramm-Leach Bliley Act). Individual will be responsible for executing IT control auditing and testing procedures against applications across the entire enterprise. Candidate will be required to gain a strong understanding of environment, culture, and teams.
Responsible for performing and reporting on GLBA controls testing in the information system infrastructure and application environments.
Collaborate with technical Subject Matter Experts to complete IT control testing activities.
Provide analysis and recommendations of test methodologies and tailor test plans accordingly.
Perform testing and validation based on risk assessment results. The Analyst will be responsible for verification of information safeguards such as encryption, password controls, network protection, external vulnerabilities, information access
Collect, evaluate, and review customer information controls, such as information security policies, back-up and recovery procedures, audit reports, architecture reviews, etc.
Manage testing documentation, including maintaining complete working papers and evidence of controls testing.
Provide support to Information Security Architects to suggest change initiatives to enhance controls adequacy
