PC/LAN Analyst

INT Technologies is currently seeking PC/LAN Analyst candidates for a prestigious client in Downtown Minneapolis. This is an 8 month contract opportunity to begin right away.

Position Description: Participates in the engineering, network planning, coordination, and installation of new or modified LANs. Performs troubleshooting, second-level diagnostics, research, evaluation, and documentation of various LAN and data communications solutions and alternatives. Works with business partners to provide technical analysis and consultation on complex network design and configuration issues. Coordinates the installation of equipment, lines, and software necessary to meet the client area's LAN requirements. Prepares instructions and documentation for installation and monitors project status. Works with software developers on custom software for engineering LAN to ensure proper capacity for network resources. May guide or direct less experienced staff.

Requirements:
• Windows NT
• MCSE
• Shell scripting
• Prefer Linux experience
• MS IIS
• MUST have prior enterprise experience.
• Must have current HP/DELL/IBM hardware experience.
• Must have prior 2nd level production support experience and current 3rd level experience.
• Knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise server 4 or 5 is extremely helpful.
• Candidate must be flexible with hours. Must be willing to work weekends if needed.
