Volunteer needed at Saint Paul Community Tech Center to help lower- literacy and/or ELL clients utilize computers. Somali/English speaker would be VERY HELPFUL as many clients are native Somali speakers. Volunteer will work one-on-one with participants needing extra help learning computer tasks being taught. This could include specific tasks in Microsoft Word (copy/paste, formating, spell check, etc), learning how to use the computer, learning how to use the internet and email, etc.

Somali/English translation will also be needed to improve communication with lab staff. There are other Somali speaking staff on site but they are not always available.

Available Monday -Thursday from 9am to 4pm.
3 hour/ week required
