Looking for a great home for my baby girl. She is 2 yrs old, spayed female. She has been pampered and is a total snuggler. She sleeps in her kennel at night, or in bed with you if allowed. I am relocating to Arizona and the extreme heat of the desert and tiny apartment will not be good for her. She likes walks, loves to free run if allowed, and easy to bathe if you like to do it yourself. Otherwise she is fond of the groomers as well. She is also trained for basic commands, bark control and is housebroken. She's very smart and she would love to have a fenced in yard to run in.

We are in search of a small female dog to join our family. We prefer that she be over the age of 2, be spayed and would love it if she were already housebroken. She needs to get along with other dogs (we have a female min pin) and young kids. We prefer short hair(don't want to mess with hair cuts and shedding). Some breeds we are considering are: Min Pin, Chihuahua, Dachshund and Rat Terrier or a combination of any of them. She will be spoiled like crazy. Milo is 3 years old. Born May 3rd 2006. He is about 10 pounds. He is a pure breed Yorkie although he did not come with papers.

We have two kittens left from a litter of four born on 08/20/09. They are both really sweet, cuddly kitties who also love to play. They do need shots and spaying/neutering and are free to good homes! We're a house of college students that have enjoyed raising them, but unfortunately cannot keep them any longer.

(Though their names are open to change) the first is Jude (as in "Hey Jude"), slightly smaller (second smallest), slightly lighter orange with more subtle white marking. Jude has "female" genitals. The second is Ja(y)ne (Jane Doe or Jayne from the Joss Whedon series Firefly and movie Serenity), slightly larger (second largest), slightly darker orange with more striking white socks and markings. Ja(y)ne has "male" genitals. The third picture is another recent one of them nursing with mom (Eddie, who appears to be calico). We're not sure who dad was, but orange/orange tabby might be the best guess. The fourth picture is Jude having a big yawn. Aw.

They are ready to go as soon as someone (other than us) falls in love with them!

The Carver-Scott Humane Society, whom recently purchased a chunk of land as a site for a future shelter building, is hosting the nationally syndicated and acclaimed Dr. Michael Fox for a seminar on holistic pet care. Anyone who owns a pet or is curious about the subject of holistic care is encouraged to attend! All proceeds go to help fund the building of the organizations shelter as well as many other community services the organization provides.

Dr. Michael Fox, veterinarian, syndicated columnist, bio-ethicist and author, is generously donating his time to Carver-Scott Humane Society. He will give a workshop on holistic care for cats and dogs, focusing especially on pet foods, supplements and vaccinations. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers, and he will be on hand to sign his books on cat and dog behavior, nutrition, massage therapy and integrated veterinary care. There will be free hand-outs of some of his basic information.

Carver-Scott Humane Society is using this event as a fundraiser for our future shelter building. We closed on a 4 acre parcel of land in January 2009. The land is conveniently located to both Carver & Scott Counties. Please support the animals and attend this exciting workshop!

Do you have a toy I could play with? I love toys! I had so many toys laid out in front of me today, that I was just beside myself trying to choose which one to play with! It was really fun. I loved chasing after the toys in the lobby at the dog pound, and like chewing on those squeeky toys. But, be warned, a plush squeeky toy won't last more than 5 minutes with a young bully boy like me!

I'm a young guy. Probably still under a year. I'm probably at my full height, but I haven't completely filled out and toned up those big muscles of mine yet. I'm in no hurry to grow up. I enjoy being more like a puppy, so I'll probably stay this way for a while yet. But, I do know how to sit, and am very treat motivated, so I can probably learn a lot in a short amount of time. I really like to play with other dogs but will probably need a submissive playmate as I like to be the boss :)

I'd love to go to a home where someone can play with me, and make sure I can get a fair amount of exercise. After all, a tired puppy is a happy puppy. And a tired puppy, means happy parents! Funny how that works!

I'm not having much fun in doggy jail. Can you help get me out? I hope I can come to your house soon!

their pets to shelters ect rather than simply rehome them yourselves.I know,your thinking "because they are guaranteed
to be placed into a great home".Thats not always the case,I have watched craigslist ads for a year,I see some of the same dogs
listed on here for months on end because people arent adopting them.How sad is it that your pet now sits waiting for a home for God knows how long.So now here your pet has lived with you (hopefully yours was their first home),lived in a shelter or foster care,and with luck is now going to be moved to their 3rd or 4th home.There is absolutely NO guarantee that they will be placed in their wonderful forever home after being surrendered to a shelter/rescue,and I'm certainly not knocking shelters,I adopted a dog from one myself.But I am saying that I have seen numerous ads on here from people rehoming a pet that they recently adopted thru a shelter.Simple fact,People can lie to or deceive shelters just as well as they can you.Our shelters/rescues are overrun with animals and one of the reasons is because some people just look for the easy way out with their pets,they dont want to have to do any work in finding them a good home so they crap out on their pet and dump them on shelters/rescues or they dont want to be the blame for a bad rehoming situation,its easier to blame the shelters and rescues when they are put back up for yet another rehoming.Grow up and take responsibility for your pets.

I rescued four kittens from a passing mother cat. Gave them some TLC to get them in good health. Two females, a beautfull tabby with medium long hair and a white with dark tabby spots. Two males a black&white the other white with tabby spots. Very happy kittens that like to purr. I have them in a clean barn, they havn't been ouside since I rescued them. My best guess on age is close to 11 or 12 weeks of age. I'd like them to be inside cats for they would not survive outside this time of the year. and I recently rescued a kitten, from a neighbor that sadly didnt want her and knew there was a feline rescuer near.Which is me.Shes a very spontanious young lady shes grey with white and has white paws and some white markings shes got dark abourn eys that are geourgous and peircing.I'm guessing she did't have many toys so she was very curious while learning to play with the different kinds. She loves "yarn like" toys and runs around with a tiny ball in her mouth like its a prize, its so very adorable. Shes about 10 weeks in age and she loves hanging around our home and the two days that weve been luckey to have her company shes been sleeping on my pillow and stays very close to me.
I have three cats and one foster that is due to have kittens any day now so our home is very full.

I'm rehoming my 3 little Dwarf Puffers, aka Pea Puffers, aka about a million other names! I'm rehoming them because I'd like to change the tank I'm using into a community tank. They are only about 4 or 5 months old (not old enough to sex accurately). I believe that they are two females and one male. It might be the other way around though. Their differences aren't evident until they are about a year old. These guys are great eaters, and have lived harmoniously with ghost shrimp. They have shown almost zero aggression, except for a little arguing when it's meal time. They happily take blood worms, and I'm working on myosis shrimp. They do have some specific needs though:

-About 5 gallons per puffer
-They only eat meaty food, they won't eat flake food (they loooove snails)
-They could probably be housed with some "fast" community fish that don't have long, flowing tasty tails like betas
-The tank really needs to be heavily planted, to cut down on territorial disputes.
-They eat about 2-3 times a day

Besides this, they are really fun to watch. If you've got any kind of snail problem in your tank, you can say GOODBYE to them! They love to eat snails, and it's really fun to watch! They are from an established tank, and appear to be very healthy. I had to look all over the twin cities for these guys, and only found one place that carried them. Their rehoming fee is 10 dollars for all three, and you'll need to bring your own bag to hold them in!

-They live for about 2-3 years
-They only grow to be about an inch long (they already are)
-They need freshwater (not brackish)
-About 74-80 F

I was not a fan of inside dogs. I still despise the fact dogs smell and they shed. But, I refuse to get of the dog my husband I commited to getting. (he was originally supposed to be an outside dog). We potty trained him and reluctantly (through many accidents) he is now inside. We already had a toddler and recently had another baby. He is fine with both of them. He has learned not to bite and to be gentle. Though he gets excited and tries to tackle our toddler, he learns his lesson when our son cries. I still vaccum everyday because he sheds and bathe him every week because he smells. I am not a fan of him yet his constant company for me. I feel safer that he is around.

When my husband is deployed in 2011, the dog will still be here. Despite the fact that he will still shed, still smell and still annoy me every once in a while. I will keep him into his old age. I will still sequester him when we eat dinner but will always let him out after to clean up our toddlers mess on the floor. He will continue to sleep on the floor on my side of the bed (I think he is trying to get sweet on me).

I will continue to keep him as long as god will let me. I will keep him even if I get pregnant again and for the first three months, I am vomiting just at the sight or mention of a dog. He is not my favorite, but my husband loves him as will I.

Today I printed a picture of him and placed it into a picture frame next to our family picture. I realize that I may not love all the things he does, but I love him. My kids love him. My husband loves him.

Maybe next time we do a family picture, he will be included, as long as he has a bath first...

hello, need some help. Would like to build a cat tree for my demons, but am unsure as to what best wood is to use..I know to cover with sisal rope or carpet..but what wood?

Also, looking to build multi-level rabbit hutch, must be sturdy and suitable for indoors...and large enough/strong enough for a 20-30 lb rabbit as that is how big my Binkie will get...

Dexter doesn't want to stay inside and isn't really allowed outside in the trailer court we live in. He is very friendly and loving, just likes to hang out outside. He is about a year old, had a round of shots when he was a baby but is not fixed or declawed. If interested please call 763-205-5360

I recently bought a 16-inch knife fish and housed him with Nala my 18-inch Arowana. At first they seemed don't mind each other but after 2 weeks they started to fight.I need to rehome the knife fish. 6yr old American pitbull needs loving home by Nov 13th. He's a nuetered male that needs shots. He is very loving and friendly and good with kids. Loves attenton and sleeping with you. Allergic to pork and anything with pork in it. He's an indoor dog that cannot be left outside unless you have a fence or he will run off. We are asking a $100 rehoming fee.
