One of our outside cats hasn't been seen for the last 2-3 weeks. I am very worried about where she is! Her name is Ce-Ce (or Cecilia or Princess) and she's about 8-9 years old, black with white mittens and tights, as we call them. She is VERY friendly, and she's pretty much an attention whore.

I have already tried going to the Humane Society and even the animal control center. I have filed reports with each of them. Please let me know if you see her!!!

I have a 1 yr old Frenchie that I need to rehome. He is neutered, UTD on shots and healthy. He is very much a cuddle bug and loves his person. He gets along well with other dogs (he has a great dane sister) and likes cats ( but can be a little over zealous with them!) He MUST go to a home with NO children..I have a 10 yr old, dog-savvy daughter that he has nipped at and I no longer trust him around the kids. I have tried everything i can think of and the nipping has been unprovoked. He is not fully house trained (typical frenchie) and does have accidents, although not daily. He is not crate trained...he will actually go into his crate to go potty. He likes being in it and is quiet but will pee and poop in it if the spirit moves him. I do not know if this is something he will ever stop doing. Ok with that said, he is a great cuddler and will nap anywhere with you. He is not a barker and really just wants to be with you. He loves car rides and walks. He is brindle with a white chest and a little smaller than most frenchies I have met. I do not know much about his background as I 'inherited' him when he was about 5 months old. I know there is a perfect home out there for him somewhere and it breaks my heart that it isn't with us. Please do not respond if you haven't done your homework on this breed! They are darling but not for everyone!

I had the tear staining with my dog too.You can use saline,like what you use for contact lenses (preferably the sensitive eye saline)
apply the saline to either a cotton ball or a soft cloth their under eyes and tear stains with that on a daily bases,it wont take it all away but it will help it.For excessive tear staining you can do the bleaching,not with regular bleach but a dog staining bleach you have to be very careful when doing this though,I would suggest having it professionally done,this is what they do with the Show Dogs,then after that just keep using saline daily to wash the eye area .

Jewel and Chloe were adopted together from the Humane Society about 2 years ago. They are both around 3-years-old and need to stay together. They need a new home due to changes in their owner's life and allergy problems. Very sweet and loving cats who deserve and need a new loving family in return. Sweet Edna the Great Dane Mix Needs a Rescue!!! - Can You Help? (Minnesota/ Wisconsin)

A rescue group is needed to take in Edna, a sweet, older large female mix ( possibly Great Dane?) who it is believed was abandoned, not lost, in the woods in Wisconsin. No one has come forward to claim her, thus the abandonment theory. She is gentle, knows several commands (sit, stay, shake), current weight is 76 lbs (she needs to add weight) and she is 27" at the withers. She likes other dogs and people including kids. She has not been exposed to cats since she was taken in so no one knows how she reacts to them.

CAN YOUR RESCUE HELP EDNA? The local Dane rescue can not take her, unfortunately since she is a mix. \Edna is described as "sweet and spunky with a lot of living yet to do" by the shelter volunteer in WI who e-mailed us about her. Based on her photos, we can believe it! Because she is a bit older and a larger dog, her rescuer says she will be likely euthanized at the local shelter. How sad it would be if she were to die just because she is a bit older and there is no room for her. We are trying to help her find a rescue in Minnesota who will take Edna - - PLEASE contact me if you can help. Time is of the essence. We will help transport her if needed. I am missing my beautiful male siamese kitty named Miles Davis. He is almost 2 years old. He was being watched in Shoreview (a suburb of the twin cities, about 20-30 minutes north) and got outside one night never to be seen again. This was roughly two weeks ago. He was wearing a black studded collar with a name/phone number tag. His collar also had a miniature key on it (the key to Davey Jones' locker... he was a pirate kitty...). This wonderful, affectionate cat was adopted from a no-kill shelter when she was a kitten 6 years ago. She�s very smart, loves to sit on laps, and has excellent communication skills (she�ll meow when she needs something). She is part Persian so she has extremely soft fur and a shorter nose. She is also used to being around small children and is very calm. She is spayed and has her front claws, but she will sit on my lap and purr while I clip them. Please consider adopting her if you can provide her with a caring home.

To good home, four year old female (neutered) Bassett Hound. She is purebred (we may have the papers for her yet), We got her about a year and a half ago from the original owners who were moving to Texas and didn't want to take her along. She is a sweet dog, loves other dogs, kids, babies, anything. She has tolerated all sorts of roughhousing from our small children with a wag of the tail. She loves people of all kinds, and took no more than a few days to make a close bond with our other dog.

We are looking to re-home her because she wants to be an inside dog. She had always been an inside dog before, and was inside with us until this last fall when we got a dog house and sent them out more, due to family allergies. Our other dog prefers to be outside most of the time, but this one just whines to be let beck in. It is really sad, but we made the decision for the kids health.

We are looking for a family that would allow her to be in the house most of the time. She is a great companion dog, and would be equally suitable for a family with small children as she would be with an elderly person. She is very low maintenance, doesn't care to be walked a lot, likes to nap at your feet or wander around with you. She just likes to be around people. If your house will be empty for 8+ hours of the day, she would not be a great dog for you, but she does tolerate shorter absences fine. She will be very comfortable for longer periods if there is another dog around.

She is neutered and has her shots. She is a little overdue for a vet checkup, but she's been in great health as long as we've had her.

Small re-homing fee is appreciated, negotiable.

I was out running today with my dog and a gentleman was holding a little terrier who he said had almost gotten hit by a car at Hamline and Minnehaha. He was not from the area so I told him I would bring her home. My husband and I knocked on doors in the along the street and asked at the nearby knitting store and nobody recognized her. She will make some body a great companion. You get comfy on your sofa or recliner and she's there ready to keep you lap warm and take a nap. She is GREAT with little kids.
She is also very good with adults, and other dogs. She has been raised around all of the above. She will chase submissive cats if they run. Most of mine just look at her as if to say..."ahhhh I don't think so" then at that point she plays with them. Need a companion dog for a senior family member???....Well here's you girl. She loves to play, and nap. A fenced yard will be best for her so she can run off some of her energy. You a runner....well take her with you. She does need to get used to a leash again though.

My kitty Maggie is in need of a new home.

She is approximately 12 years old, gray with green eyes (looks a bit like a Russian Blue). She needs a home without other cats or children as she is very intolerant of both. She is antisocial at first, but then warms up to the people consistently in her life. She snuggles in bed at your feet in the winter, but not in the summer. She has a great meow and will talk to you (but not loudly or obnoxiously). She is an indoor cat, but likes to go outside in the summertime to explore. Has all her claws but leaves the furniture alone.

For full disclosure, we have to get rid of her because of some behavioral problems. We are about to have a baby, which we were anticipating would be a difficult transition for her. But she is already anticipating something is up and is urinating outside her litter box. She has periodically done this in the past as well. (NO, it isn't a bladder infection.)

She is really a sweet cat, and I would love to give her the opportunity to live out her last years without being chased by small children. Contact me if you want more information.

2 Beautiful Spayed/Neutered White Cats (New Richmond, WI)

We adopted 2 beautiful sibling cats off here a few weeks ago, that are almost 4 yrs old. Unfortunately, it is not working out. We really, really like them alot. But they and our dogs don't see eye to eye, they get along with the small dogs, but definately not our larger dog. Also I do child care, they don't mind when a couple children are present, but really dislike when all of them are here and they'll hide the whole day until all is clear. Makes me feel bad that they are spending their days in the basement. So if you're interested, please no large dogs (over 40#) and no more than 2 toddler-preschool age children.

They are both all white and very sweet, the girl has more of a girlish figure, and she love love loves her tummy rubbed. She has gorgeous blue eyes and she's a talker too. The boy is a bit shy, but when he warms up he is a snuggle bunny, he has amazing eyes, one amber eye and a blue eye. He's so cute and sweet! At first the only way you'll be able to tell them apart is their eyes.

They have a litter box, an auto feed food dish, flowing filtered water dish and some toys that will go along with them. Plus whatever food and litter is left. There will be a very small re-homing fee.

I do have a few requirements since I already have other furry friends at home with me.

I have 2 cats so the dog mustttttt get along with cats. If it is a young young pup Im sure it will be much easier to get them adapted.

I also have a male Black Lab that is 4 yrs in age.... He is very picky about dogs. I don't really know why, but I adopted him from the shelter about 2 yrs ago and didn't get along with everyone... Dog with attitude I guess... lol
I think he would do very well with a female dog.

I am looking to get a smaller dog with a spit full of energy. One who will play play play with the other dog... He seems lonely and could use a new friend.

Found a beautiful and sweet male Golden Retriever about 10 miles south west of Grantsburg on County Road O near the River Road on Saturday June 27th. Looked like he had been out wandering a while. Had a collar with a carabiner attached but no tags. Jumped right into the front seat of our car when we stopped. Seemed very well tempered and knew basic commands. He looked to be about 1-2 years old and has a distinct black spot on his tongue. We brought him to the Burnett County humane society over in Siren/Webster. http://www.hsburnettcty.org As I said he is a very sweet dog and is probably missed.
