Actually, this is exactly what I am trying to avoid! I am looking for a place with nothing but dull moments. Constant drama at home has become quite tiresome. I now long for peace and quiet. I need a one bedroom plus den, or two bedroom in Uptown for January first. (I need to be moved in by or on that date.) I am hoping to find something 750 or less all included for a 2, or 700 or less all included for a one plus den.This apartment will only have one permanent resident. But will be used by two. Both women. One will likely only be present about a week of each month, but sometimes as much as two weeks during certain months of the year. This is an arrangement between friends, because of frequent travel. I intend to be the lease holder, and have good rental history. I also have a long standing job in the area. (Nearing a decade.)

We DO NOT want the second party on the lease.

Rent is not payed by the second party, and return from trips and length of stay is always iffy. We have had massive issues finding a place that will except this. What exactly is that about? Maybe its been too long since I've moved, but it seems to me that if one person can afford the rent, and is proven responsible, then what difference does it make?

I went through an agency to have them assist me with the rent. They did not pay it until after the UD was filed. The second one was because I moved out and broke my lease. I gave 2 months notice as requiered. But during my last month there I wasn't going to be able to pay the rent until the 14th of the month. I notified them of this as soon as I realized. They were not willing to work with me since I was moving. Legally they can file for a UD by the 10th of the month and they did.

I am currently looking to rent either a room in someones home or a full basement. I do have a 2 yr old son but we are very respectful of your space. I also have a dog so I need someone who is ok with dogs and willing to listen to the occasional 2 yr old tantrum. My son is a very happy boy so its very rare... but it happens. I am looking for something that I will have my own private room and getaway place.. I would prefer a home that already has children there but its not needed. Also a fenced in back yard is a plus. Hi! I'm going to be moving to Uptown in January and I'm beginning my search early for a new roommate. Im looking for a 1 bedroom in the metro for around $700 a month. The peoblem is i have really bad credit from when i was 18 and dumb when it came to money. I have no rental history but have no problem paying a larger than usual deposit. I would prefer a 6 month lease but would do 12 month for the right place. Please specify you pet policy, rent, deposit and what utilities the renter is responsible for.

Hi, I am a single mom with a two year old son. I am honest, clean, hard working and dont drink or do drugs. I have made some mistakes in the past and plan to keep them in the past. My life was not always as together as it is now (and I still have a long way to go). But I have never used drugs or violence. I am looking for a chance to prove that I am able to be a good parent, go to school, pay my bills, and put a stable roof over my son's head.
I am currently working with the supportive housing unit. If you dont know what that is I will explaine. It is like section eight, only a lot better. My case worker stops by once a month to check in on me. Most of the rent is paid directly to the land lord by the supportive housing unit. I have been living in a shelter for two months now and this program is going to help me for the next two years so that I can get on my feet while I go to school for human services.
This is what I am looking for:
I would like a two bedroom, or a one bedroom with a small den (which I would then use as my bedroom). A one bedroom just will not work for me to be able to study while my son sleeps at night. But if the one bedroom is big enough and you have ideas as to how I can arrange a small area in the apartment to be set up as my room I can work with that.
If I live in Inver Grove Heights I can pay up to $790, depending on what utilities I would also have to pay.
If I live in West St Paul I can pay up to $740, depending on what utilites I have to pay.
I am working on a short time frame to find a place. I can not live with anyone. It has to be my own apartment, town house, or duplex.
Please do not email me about anything that does not meet the guidelines I have listed above because you would just be wasting your time as well as my time. I am not able to be flexable on the price or the location. Sorry.
