Housing wanted for 9/1

My partner and I need a semi-temporary place to live starting in September 1. We would happily share a room in a communal home or maybe you have a small studio space or apartment that would work for us.

We are interested in purchasing a home and starting an intentional community . We are working with a realtor, but the correct home has not emerged for us yet. Because of this, we are kind of interested in a flexible living arrangement without a really long term lease in case the right home comes along for us to buy. We would be flexible based on the needs of whomever we rent from. I don't think a 6 month lease is out of the question, so we can talk about what would work well for both parties.

About us: I am a 33 year old female professional--I work at a local liberal arts college. My partner, Tomas, is 40 and works in hospitality. I keep normal business hours and Tomas's schedule is erratic sometimes early morning and sometimes late night based on events. We've been together four years so we are a stable couple and have lived in communal situations before so sharing space with others is no problem for us. We are tidy, but not neat freaks. We'd not thrive is a really messy place but we don't require the place be spotless either. We do like to use the kitchen, but clean up after ourselves. We are super open-minded and are into sustainability issues, yoga/meditation, alternative healing, nutrition, native/earth spirituality, etc. We are multiculturally minded and like to travel. Tomas is originally from Lima Peru and we were recently living in Peru for 8 months.

If we sound like a good fit for you, please send an email with what you can offer including monthly rent and other expenses, a little about yourself, how your home is organized (or not organized) and any other appropriate details.
