True if Obama had not campaigned for the candidates.
However the fact he could not get the democratic base excited about the candidates and could not get volunteers excited about getting the vote out it is a sign. I don't remember a president campaigning 5 times for Tim P in Minnesota. Could be wrong. What would you have said if Bush had been here 5 time and and Tim Lost (I know GREAT) At least be consistent.
All races are important. And all justifications is BS
To say the race in NY is a sign or these two are a sign is problematic. However they start to paint a picture for both sides.
