Ummm… cutting government during a recession would be insanity. That is why even conservative presidents increase spending.
A recession is defined as shrinking GDP for 2 quarters. That means the economy shrinks. Cut govt spending and the economy shrinks further. You wont find ANY serious or educated economists tell you to cut govt or spending to eliminate a recession. Only loud mouth conservative pundits, con blogs and other people who have no basic knowledge of economics.

Ummm. no we're not. Inflation is relatively low, Gas prices are increasing, that is about it. Increasing gas prices is a sign the economy is getting better. That means manufacturers are increasing production and using more fuel.
One of the tell tale signs an economy is in trouble is gas prices falling. Look at last year. When the Bush economy took a dive, gas prices went from about 3.29 to 1.55

No, they take time. Reagan took 16 months, Bush took 2 years to see positive job growth

As much as I will say corporations cause many problems, corporations are people, people have rights

Nonsense! Some lobbyists are a problem, others represent groups of citizens who's voice wouldn't be heard otherwise and represent very important causes

We already have a problem with quality people in congress. IMpose term limits and you'll have a revolving door of incompetents pushing out the quality people
