Have you ever been to a good old-fashioned " English Tea"? Or a "Victorian Tea", like the ones that happened 100 yrs ago? Or a "Whimsical Tea"? Or an "Asian Tea"? Or a "Black-Tie Tea"? Or a "Peasant Tea"? I have thought of starting a Tea group, where we have a different type of "Tea" each month....but it takes a group to establish one. The monthly "Teas" can be on the lighter side, with just scones and Tea....or more elaborate. It is all up to the members!

I have quite a bit of experience giving Teas, so I have lots of ideas......but I need you first. :)

"Teas" are wonderfully-special events! Each member can "have a month" and decide the "theme" for that month....or?? That member can ask for everyone to wear a hat and gloves....or dress in a certain color or ????

The members can chat about the weather at our Teas....or we can decide to discuss more serious matters of the day. What is really fun is talking about how society and/or the life of women has changed in the last 100-150 yrs. This can be a wonderful group to bring your teen or tween daughter or granddaughter to...to learn about how life used to be, before the age of computers, fast-food and Blackberries.

A Tea Group is what you make it...........................educational, fun, relaxing and very special!!

P.S. Once in a while we can even decide to have an " I Love Lucy Coffee Clutch" instead....like in the 50's and 60's, with various coffees, fondue and gossip!
