Primary Purpose Assignments given to this individual are more complex with the expectation that assignments are completed with limited supervision and minimal review. Perform detailed computations with limited supervision and minimal review. Majority of assignments are of a design nature, with the balance of responsibilities requiring CAD or other electronic tool skills. Alternatively, incumbent is expected to be an expert in the use of CAD or other electronic tools. When performing production CAD, their responsibilities go beyond drawing preparation as they are expected to layout and develop drawings with only minimal input using general concepts and verbal instructions. <br>
Principal Duties and Responsibilities Applies engineering principles and established design practices in developing moderately complex design concepts and deliverables. Coordinates with other design group personnel to review and exchange project information necessary for design development. Performs specific design functions for the project as assigned, process work assignments, and maintain schedules and records. Provides work direction and guidance to others. Continuously evaluate the methods used to accomplish the design concept and drafting activities they have been assigned. If this evaluation indicates that a process can be simplified without sacrificing the integrity of the outcome, it should be discussed with the supervisor for possible implementation. Ensures that the design concept and drawings are complete and to the best of their knowledge meet B&V requirements and applicable codes and standards. Design concepts and drawings shall be compliant with B&V Recommended Practices, sketches, notes, other input material and the Project Design Manual. Supports continuous improvement efforts and the change management effects associated with the implementation of improvements. <br>

1. Must have strong ACAD skills <br>
2. Must be self motivated <br>
3. Will be required to help coordinate/schedule PO’s with subs (Surveyor, Geotech, Enviro., etc.) <br>
4. Must be able to relay technical site information to Market Engineer of Team in KC. <br>
5. Must be able to do site visits and evaluate existing conditions of the site and foresee potential site conflicts. <br>
6. Must be in market to complete site walks and collect information from landlords and local authorities (zoning, special use permits, etc.). <br>
7. Must be able to contact Landlords and schedule time to access sites. <br>
8. May be required to coordinate some CAD work or redlines with staff in KC or Pune. <br>
9. Must be well organized to coordinate multiple jobs/sites at one time. <br>

Responsibilities begin early in the technology or development phase and would include design for manufacturability (DFM), support of prototype builds, verification of measurement systems, development of tooling and fixturing, and specification and of assembly equipment. <br>
Summary of Major Responsibilities:<br>
Development of innovative equipment, tooling, and assembly methods for implantable medical device components. The work is likely to begin as "hands-on" prototyping and evolve into equipment specification/purchase/qualification, process characterization, and eventual release to production. The use of FMEA and other methods to mitigate risk and reduce process variability is essential. <br>
Work closely with product designers, project leaders, and manufacturing engineers. Collaboration within the teams will be critical to success. <br>
Utilize statistical techniques to understand process variables and their impact on outcomes with an emphasis on data-based decision making. <br>
Develop and execute feasibility strategy, including prototyping and experimentation. Present data based results and direction for further study or execution. <br>
Provide training on new equipment or processes to team members.<br>
Provide line layouts and lean process flows, including capability analysis.<br>
Work under only general direction. Independently determines and develops approaches to solutions. <br>
Requirements:<br>
BS in Mechanical/Quality/Manufacturing Engineering and 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or R&D within a regulated environment. <br>
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in process development. Proven communication skills and ability to lead within a multi-functional team, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required a combination of standing or walking 70% of work day. <br>
Occasional climbing of stairs to interface with engineering support groups. Occasional lifting up to 15 pounds. Visual requirements include close, distance, color vision, and depth perception. <br>

• Autonomously operate, monitor and log a MOCVD tool.  Run characterization equipment for data acquisition.<br>

• Support shipping and receiving operations. <br>
• Prior experience (1 year) in semiconductor or vacuum equipment maintenance and repair.<br>

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE<br>

This senior position shall have accountabilities for planning, design, and project management of construction projects in support of Thomson Reuter's business units across the Americas. Must demonstrate technical knowledge to develop and manage projects of larger scale and complex technical projects.  Experience with Data Center construction projects is required in addition to a minimum of ten years experience leading projects along with the technical knowledge is required.<br>

This role will require close coordination and partnership with the internal IT and Facilities Management organizations to ensure all operational objectives are accomplished in a cost effective and seamless manner. <br>

MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY<br>

1.  Planning: The primary function of this role will be the planning support to the Real Estate and Facilities organization across the Thomson Reuters Americas portfolio.  This position shall provide the technical expertise in the development of the preliminary business requirements to support real estate and facility operations initiatives. This will require extensive technical and communication planning skills when working with Thomson Reuters senior business managers, contract resources, and real estate and facilities operations. In addition to coordinating planning activities, this position shall be able to transform programming requirements into initial design, type and quantity of space.  (40%)  <br>

2. Design and Construction:  Responsible for the planning, design, and implementation of construction projects including project scope development, financial oversight, scheduling, and communication. Position will provide expert consultation and technical lead for both design and development of data centers and server rooms including critical electrical and mechanical systems. Coordinates team activities of designated projects to ensure that goals and objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Oversees the design and implementation of assigned projects ensuring budget, schedule, quality and customer satisfaction objectives are met. •Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling and coordinating engineering design and test issues and bring to resolution.  Responsible for managing project timeline and with in budget.

•Coordinate project personnel activities to specific phases or aspects of projects such as technical studies, product design, and technical plans, product testing, validation, and procurement control.
<br>
•Serve as communication link with customer on technical elements of projects.
<br>
•Coordinate and participate in reviews of customer specifications and product designs for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and quality standards.  Initiate documents as required by procedures from these reviews
<br>
•Review customer specifications to determine needed support activities.
<br>
•Develop documentation per company procedure and appropriate standards.  Follow up with internal groups on proper handling of documents.  Responsible for handling technical submittals to customer

•Directs integration of technical activities and products with internal and external resources.  If needed, will initiate procurement documentation for external support.

•Prepares interim and completion project reports.  Communicate on a periodic basis with project team members and management team.

•Provide engineering support functions.

<b>MIMIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</b>
<br>
•Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
<br>
•Five to eight years industry-related experience in design engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
<br>
•Two to four years project engineering-related experience, including scheduling and project budget management.  Ability to use and apply computer-based project management tools.
<br>
•Experience in the application of nuclear requirements and/or other detailed customer requirements.
<br>
•Ability to utilize software for the following applications word processing, spreadsheet, Gantt charts, and related applications.
<br>
•Ability to independently perform most assignments with instruction only regarding general expected results.
<br>
•Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.  Ability to respond to common inquiries or feedback from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.  Ability to effectively present information to management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

•Able to travel to manufacturing facilities and customer sites, if needed.

<description><![CDATA[Looking for a Reliability Engineer to confirm and document traceability between objective evidence documentation and EN IEC 60601-1 standard requirements and all relevant standards.<br>
Provide Reliability Engineering support of market released non-implantable instruments and patient management (software) through the product life cycle. <br>
Support reliability improvements through education and communication of existing field issues/concerns.<br>
Support cross-functional teams in the preparation of Reliability/Risk Assessments: reliability predictions, Hazard Analyses, Fault Tree Analyses, FMEAs, etc. Evaluate field performance, analyze field performance trends, and recommend corrective action when necessary. <br>
Support return products in analysis and evaluation of field returns. <br>
Investigate and evaluate field issues with respect to potential health risks (perform Corrective Action and Preventive Action activities and prepare Health Hazard Analyses) and work with teams to resolve; also work with Marketing, Product Development and Regulatory on field corrective action plans. <br>
Prepare Product Assurance Plans, Qual/Test Plans and Qual/Test Reports. <br>
Provide technical support for technicians performing testing. <br>
Assure resolution of all issues raised during testing. <br>
Define, champion and integrate all testing, including the continuum of DVT, qualification, validation, etc. <br>
Use reliability testing to understand design/process margins. <br>
Review and approve changes to designs/processes and assess impact on product and qualification status. <br>
Provide input for Regulatory submissions. <br>
Support MQA/QA in the disposition of discrepant material/processes and in the qualification of new material/ processes to assure reliability requirements are met. <br>
Provide design input by reviewing legacy product performance and assessing new technologies. <br>
Participate in establishing and reviewing specifications/requirements for component, product and processes. <br>
Review changes to designs and processes and assess impact to assure reliability requirements are met. <br>
Understand integration of component, design, and process to ensure adequate design/process margin. <br>
Establish project reliability/quality goals and metrics to drive continuous improvement. <br>
<br>
BS in engineering or related field and at least 3 to 5 years of experience in Reliability, Design Assurance, or Product Assurance. <br>
Experience with structured project management.<br>
Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking ability. <br>
Proficiency with data analysis using statistical techniques and reliability tools. <br>
Excellent written and oral communication skills. <br>
Experience working with and providing direction for cross-functional teams.<br>

<description><![CDATA[Our client has an immediate need for a contract-to-hire manufacturing engineer with a strong background in electronics manufacturing, specifically with new product introductions.<br>
<br>
Support Program Managers, Buyers, Production, Quality Assurance, and Engineering departments.  Review defect data reports.  lnitiate and complete assembly process improvement and incorporation of new assemblies.  Help initiate the tooling orders which will consist of stencils and dies.  Troubleshooting machine issues and process flow.  Work with Product Development Engineers to ensure plots and routers are complete and accurate. <br>
<br>
Summary of essential job functions<br>
1.	Help with the integration of new product via NPI (New Product Introduction) or ECN (Engineering Change Notice). <br>
2.	Assist production floor personnel with technical issues encountered during production. <br>
3.	Drive quality and labor improvements and assist the business team with customer/build related issues that may require their technical expertise.<br>
4.	Monitor new process upon initiation via NPI, process improvement or ECN.<br>
5.	Assist with DFM and production launch process. <br>
a.	Review to identify tooling requirements.<br>
b.	Suggest build process. <br>
c.	Suggest alternative components and design improvements.<br>
6.	Review line configuration, process flow, and recommend layout/equipment changes to improve throughput and or quality.<br>
7.	Review throughput (run time to quote) and quality data for areas of improvement.<br>
8.	Assist in resolving NCM/MRB issues (correct media, part marking, etc.).<br>
9.	Responsible for developing and maintaining effective manufacturing processes. <br>
a.	Develop and implement process controls that include statistical techniques. <br>
b.	Lead continuous improvement efforts for manufacturing efficiencies and reduced labor costs. <br>
c.	Work closely with customers and manufacturing to ensure technical information is communicated clearly and promptly.<br>
10.	Work with Process and Quality Engineers / Technicians to improve quality.<br>
a.	Provide support in areas of process development, programming, troubleshooting and repair of equipment, stencil design, fixture design and assembly, and tooling used in the production processes.<br>
11.	Create and maintain technical process manuals and documents used by Engineering or Manufacturing personnel. Also responsible to train personnel in the use of documentation, equipment, and associated processes.<br>
12.	Technical resource for other departments within AEM, will provide support of the company objectives as defined by the Director of Manufacturing and Director of Operations.<br>
13.	PCB Assembly Responsibilities:<br>
a.	Automated Equipment - Understand operation, programs and control.<br>
b.	Have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures utilized in circuit board manufacturing.<br>
c.	Assist Integration Engineer in creating / validating panel drawings as required.<br>
d.	Document problems with customer's designs such as, but not limited to, land patterns, package style, component selection, etc. and forward to Project Engineer for follow up.<br>
e.	Machine Programs – Program and validate machine programs during NPI or ECN implementation phase of a build. Have the skill set to make program changes as required.<br>
14.	Provide status updates to Engineering Manager and other managers concerning progress on assigned activities.<br>
<br>
Minimum requirements<br>
1.	Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; or 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.<br>
2.	Experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications, Computer Aided Design (CAD), Gerber, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design Of Experiments (DOE), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Surface Mount Equipment Manufacturers Association Standards (SMEMA), and automated assembly equipment programming experience is preferred.<br>
3.	Working knowledge of electronics assembly equipment and processes.<br>
4.	Working knowledge of stencils and dies.<br>
5.	Training and experience with IPC-610 standards or equivalent.  Familiarity with ISO procedures.<br>
6.	Familiarity with CircuitCAM software is a plus.<br>
<br>
Abilities required<br>
1.	Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers.<br>
2.	Ability to learn and utilize many aspects of ERP system (4th Shift).<br>
