About Various Hair Extension Methods
Strand by strand hair extension's are the longest wearing, most comfortable method of wearing hair extensions for an extended period of time (about 4-6 months depending on the growth of your own hair.) Weft processes such as sew-ins, glued-in weaves, and simple, cheaper methods from your local beauty supply store will typically last about 4 weeks before your hair has grown out and begun to show the weft, which means you will need to buy the service, and probably the hair, again. If you are looking for longer wear for your $$ then strand by strand may be the product for you. Be sure you look over your options and choices carefully. Strand by strand extensions should be allowed approximately 6 hours for installing. It sounds like a lot but as you can see on the chart below, many times saving your $$ and/or time, in the end is not a savings at all!
