For the couple, being able to barter products and services may mean the difference between being able to afford a good photographer, and a great photographer. Bartering on one part of the wedding may free up funds for them to apply to another aspect of their wedding, and really allow them to achieve that which the cash budget would not have allowed... simply by trading their goods/services.

For the vendor.. we never spend our income on little luxuries. Have you noticed that? Whether it's a trip to a spa or a night out at a hockey game, there's always something more important for business income to go towards. I can't speak for the rest of you, but I have a long list of household "to dos" I'd love to get done, but haven't been able to earmark the funds for.

You KNOW there's a bride out there, somewhere, who is marrying a guy who can fix your fence.. your car.. paint the house.. or whatever it is that you have on YOUR wish list. Maybe couple "A" can do part of what you need, and then you get couple "B" who can tackle the rest. Get what I'm saying? What about the bride whose sister owns a salon, and would be more than happy to barter gift certificates to help out with wedding expenses?

What I'm getting to is this. In these trying times, it would be really wonderful to have a network of wedding businesses that are open to bartering, in one central location (website), where couples can go specifically to barter. No one wants to be tacky and just approach a vendor out of the blue and ask if they'll take instead of cash.. so why not take the ackward out of it? We could have individual lists of what we're interested in bartering, etc.

I think it's a great idea. Anyone else with me? It is older and more solid and put together better than my newer boat trailer was.
Here are the dimensions. 14FT. from V to back. 5FT 8IN. from inside fenders.
Has 15IN tires. 1 7/8 ball cup. The rollers lift up and down easily by handle. Leaf spring suspension with 8 leafs.
Used to be a tilt bed and can again just melt the weld off.

It has no title or lights. So it can be licensed as home made. And trailer lights are about $25.00.

There are many uses for this trailer, just use your imagination.

Value of about $700.00 and looking to trade for almost anything.
I REALLY need a good digital camera.
